- Melanocyte transplantation is the most advanced and latest surgical treatment for Vitiligo. In this procedure the Melanocytes from healthy area of skin are harvested and grown in a special cell culture solution in a laboratory dish. The multiplied melanocytes are transplanted to the damaged area of skin. This is an outpatient procedure performed under local anesthesia.
- Suction Blister grafting procedure involves creating blisters on the pigmented area of skin using heat, suction, or freezing cold. The blisters thus formed are cut out the roofs are transplanted to the de-pigmented area of skin.
